We all know by now that water is a great benefit to our body as two-thirds of it is made of water. But did you know that this liquid nutrient is also extremely beneficial to your brain?

Did you know your brain is 80% water?

And to add to that, your muscles (including your heart) are 75% water, your blood is 83% water, your lungs are 90% water, your skin is 64% water, and even your bones are 30% water

So ok, I am going to be really transparent, I hate drinking water!

I would much rather drink juice, or something else, BUT I know that drinking HIGH-QUALITY H20

(did you catch The Waterboy movie reference?)

is exactly what my mind, body, and skin need to function at an optimal level.

Let's face it, we all could probably stand to up our water game a little right?!

Flavored waters, soda, juice and sports drinks simply do not match health wise to plain ole' water.

In fact, drinking these types of beverages actually depletes water from your body.

So I am telling you like I am telling myself SUCK IT UP BUTTERCUP AND DRINK MORE WATER!

Being an artisan who loves to create luxury quality face and body self-care products like our  Vegan Sugar Scrubs, I believe that our products function best when paired with a holistic and healthy lifestyle.

The bottom line is even with the use of high-quality plant-based ingredients,  we can't fix on the outside, what is not addressed on the inside.

If you are like me and need a little flavor to make it more palatable add fresh fruits like lime, apple, and cucumber to a large jug of distilled water, and drink it throughout the day.

And to make the process even more enjoyable find a really nice glass or stainless steel water bottle to drink your hydrating beverage from.

What about you?

Do you enjoy water?

Do you add fruit to your water?

If so share in the comments below what your favorite Summertime water and fruit infusions are.

Until next time!
